Primary Objectives:
• To have a centralized information & referral system
• To assess behavioral risk factors for 56th Fighter Wing military members & their families
• To deliver prevention services targeted to a wide range of individuals & groups within Air Force communities including: active duty & reserve members & their families, civilian employees, DOD employees, retirees & their families
• To promote collaborative marketing of the Integrated Delivery System & prevention services
Scope of Responsibilities-
Coordination:
Offers to all members of the 56th Fighter Wing a seamless delivery system that provides services and promotes knowledge of available programs, in order to enhance personal and family quality of life.
Education:
Provides reliable and credible information and prevention programs based on expressed community needs.
Assessment:
Assesses community needs through surveys and evaluations. Identifies unmet needs and uses a team approach to find and implement solutions.
Marketing:
Maximizes the use of media and technological information systems to promote prevention programs. Implements and maintains a centralized community calendar of events listing workshops offered by the Integrated Delivery System.
Networking:
Maintains an active working committee of on-base professionals who meet and share information, maintain a common database of resources, and update current points of contact for each agency.
Crisis Intervention:
Interfaces with other local community agencies to provide optimal care for the Luke community including counseling, education, and emergency intervention.
Membership
Primary Members:
Membership includes, as a minimum, representatives from each of the following base agencies: (1) Group Deputy Commanders (2) Airman & Family Readiness Flight, (3) Mental Health Services, (4) Family Advocacy Program, (5) Family Member Support Flight, (6) Health Promotions Office, and (7) the Chapel. Integrated Delivery System agencies are responsible for integrating IDS initiatives into their agency’s mission.
Secondary Members:
Membership will also include representatives from (1) First Sergeants Council and (2) Security Forces. The Integrated Delivery System Committee may invite other agencies as needed to participate or serve as advisors to the committee.
Chairperson:
56 Fighter Wing Vice Commander serves as the chairperson on behalf of the 56th Fighter Wing Commander.
