| Q. Do I have to pay anything to rent a Luke Chapel? A. No, there is no fee for the chapel, the only fee is $75.00 for the Wedding Coordinator. Q. I am a reservist will I still be able to reserve the chapel? A. As long as you possess a Military ID, you may reserve the chapel. Q. I don’t have a military ID, but my parents are retired Air Force, can they reserve the chapel for me? A. No, you must possess a valid military ID. No sponsoring, no exceptions. Q. Can my pastor from my church perform the wedding ceremony, or do I have to use a Luke chaplain? A. You can bring in your own civilian minister, we just ask for a copy of their credentials, stating that they are an ordained minister. Q. How soon should I reserve the chapel? A. We require that you reserve the chapels 4-6 months prior to the ceremony. Q. Are there any requirements we need to meet before a Luke chaplain will marry my fiancé and I? A. The Luke chaplains do require pre-marital counseling, which is required by their endorsing agencies. Please call the chapel at 856-6211 to schedule an appointment. Q. Can I have a Luke Chaplain perform my wedding ceremony? A. Active Duty Chaplains are only available to Active Duty Personnel. Q. I want to get married at Luke, where do I start? A. Contact the Chapel and ask to speak with the Wedding Manager. Q. If I live out of state, or am TDY can I still get married at Luke? A. Of course, the information will be mailed to you in which case you would sign the request form and mail it back. |
