The Airman’s Attic offers young Airmen and their families a place to pick up household items, clothes, and toys for children -- free of charge. The facility, located in small building on Luke Air Force Base, is run by volunteers and stocks items military members want to pass on. New Airmen just starting out appreciate what the attic has to offer. The attic offers a great opportunity for the base community as well as the off-base community to support Airmen. Recently, the attic reopened at Luke and volunteers are looking to increase the selection the attic currently provides.
Donations from the public will be accepted during open hours, Tue. and Thur. 10am-1pm and 1st &3rd Sat 9am-2pm. Donations will be accepted from the public at the North gate, west of Litchfield Road.

We are looking for donations in the
following areas:
• Furniture
• Electronics
• Men’s & Women’s business & casual clothing
• Children’s clothing
• Children’s toys
x(clean and in 100% working order)
• Bicycles and sports equipment
While we appreciate any and all donations, we ask that all donated items are items worth having. The Airmen who receive these items for free are not poor, just don’t always have the funds to make ends meet by purchasing new furniture. Many young military families start out with nothing, make ends meet paycheck to paycheck, and cannot afford nice amenities in their homes. By coming to the Airman’s Attic, they receive used, slightly used and sometimes new items to help reduce financial stress.
As it may be difficult to arrange the hand-off of large items or bulk collections that would involve significant unloading, tthe Airman’s Attic asks that donors coordinate bulk drop-offs in advance with the Airman’s Attic at (623) 856-6415.
